Why Tae Kwon Do?

Tae Kwon Do is the ancient form of Korean martial arts and can be translated as “the art of the hand and foot.” However, it is much more than just kicking and punching. It is an action philosophy. These 5 Core Beliefs guide a student’s actions and character inside the dojang (training hall) and in their daily life. The goal is for for each student of Tae Kwon Do to apply the 5 Tenets as they interact with others in all situations.
